FINAL FOUR PREVIEW

Michigan State Spartans vs. Butler Bulldogs - 6:07 pm - CBS - Well, Butler has the home-court advantage, but I am not sure what that means, really. These are the kind of games where you can throw all of that out the window because both teams will be playing so fiercely, anyway. I honestly do not know as much about these two teams as I do the teams in the other game, but I think I will give the edge to Michigan State. I think Tom Izzo is one of the best coaches in America, and he will find a way to send his team to the championship game. After a big Butler rally early behind an insanely hyped up crowd, Butler gets up in the beginning - possibly by double digits. But after things setlle down and time passes, I think Michigan State will pull away and win, 72-68 or so. Names to watch: Butler - Gordon Hayword, MSU - Korie Lucious.

Duke Blue Devils vs. West Virginia Mountaineers - 8:47 pm - CBS - This is the game that I will be waiting to watch. West Virginia is one of my favorite teams outside of my die-hard Tigers, and yet Duke will be the one in the game carrying the ACC flag, which I also usually pull for. So which way do I go? I think I will go with the Mountaineers. I cannot say enough about West Virginia Coach Bob Huggins and how he has turned this program into something this strong. I just get the feeling that this is their year. As for Duke, kudos for making the Final Four so many times (11 under Coach K, but just 3 wins), but I am accustomed now to seeing the Devils lose in these late rounds. Sometimes you can just tell before a game even starts that it is going to be one for the ages. I get that feeling about this Duke - West Virginia game. As much as I cannot stand Coach K, I admire him, but I feel WVU will just scratch and claw their way to a win. If Duke is hitting from 3, then I will be wrong, but otherwise it goes to the 'Neers somewhere in the 81-79 range. Names to watch: Duke, Jon Scheyer, WVU - Joe Mazzulla
