#1 LSU 42, #14 Georgia,10. Now that the Tigers of LSU have whipped UGA to win the SEC Championship, the talk is about who will be fortunate enough to get a piece of them in New Orleans for the national championship. Oklahoma State and Alabama are in a dead-heat to get that coveted #2 ranking in the BCS standings, with both schools having one-loss. LSU cruised through the season with no losses, and will be the favorite in the title game, regardless of whether they face the Tide or the Cowboys. Sunday will be a day of nail-biting for fans in Tuscaloosa and Stillwater.

The "Honey Badger," Tyrone Mathieu, stunned the large Georgia following in the Georgia Dome with a 62-yard punt return to get LSU back in the game. The Dawgs were leading 10-0 in the second quarter when Mathieu - a defensive back many are pushing for the Heisman Trophy - sprinted to the end zone to cut the lead to three. Georgia would not score again while LSU would pour on 35-straight more points.

In Stillwater, Oklahoma, the Oklahoma State Cowboys put a 44-10 beating on their arch-rival, Oklahoma, to get to 11-1 on the regular season. They are the Big-12 champions. The Cowboys lone slip-up was at Iowa State on the road in week nine - a loss that may cost them a chance at their first national title.

The team that could and would wreck OSU's shot at glory is Alabama. The Tide didn't even win their division, but many consider them the second-best team in America right now as their only loss was to LSU in overtime. Alabama did not play yesterday and finished the season 11-1, also.

The BCS selection show is at 8:15 eastern time tonight on ESPN.
