About Me:
I currently attend the Pride of the South, the University of Mississippi! A Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College Student, I maintain a 4.0 GPA as a Kinesiology major with a career interest in Physical Therapy or Dentistry. Previously involved in many academic and athletic pursuits, I was honored to be chosen as my hometown's Soccer Player of the Year, and nominated for Central Louisiana's Sportswoman of the Year. As a Wendy's Heisman Scholar-Athlete State finalist, I was able to maintain a 4.0 Honors GPA while on my high school's cross country, soccer, softball, and track teams. As an athlete, I can truly respect and appreciate the hard work of other athletes. I admire the dedication of the Ole Miss football team and look forward to a successful football season for 2009!
In my spare time, I enjoy running, photography, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. I think that I have a warm, friendly personality with a variety of interests, so I mix with many different groups. I love everything about the South!!...the weather....the people&.the food&.the culture&.and of course, SEC football!!
Why I love college football:
"Ole Miss...You're Home" was the first banner that I saw arriving on the Ole Miss campus. One of the draws to Ole Miss was their football and their fans...Southern hospitality at its best!! I love the time-honored traditions and the spirited, home-like atmosphere. There is nothing like The Grove on game day with a sea of red, white and blue tents and the warm, friendly Ole Miss fan that treats you like an extended member of their family. For bricks and mortar make a house in a community, but the Ole Miss students and fans make this community a HOME!
