About me: My name is Jessica Marie Grubb, and I am a senior at Virginia Tech,majoring in geography/culture regions and international development. When I'mnot at Lane Stadium watching the boys do what they do, I love camping, hiking,horseback riding, 4-wheeling, and really anything that involves the outdoors.I'm big into sports and played all through highschool, winning soccer statechampoinships my senioryear. I went on the play one more season my freshman year of college, and now Iwork out on my own time, and spend the rest hanging out with friends andenjoying this last year as a senior. I also have a job with Motorsports Models,spokes modeling for different raceteams and companies in Northern Virginia andhave been in two different published calendars.
Why I love college football:
I LOVE Virginia Tech football because there is just nothing better than agameday in Blacksburg. Pregame tailgates, gametime cheering sections, and postgame victory parties..what's not to love?! The entire atmosphere of a Hokiefootball game is amazing in all of its maroon and orange glory, and completelytakes over the town. Of course it helps that our Hokies are the best team inthe ACC, so it's not hard to decide who to cheer for. We may have lost a fewstarting players, but with more than enough great players willing and able tostep up and fill those spots, this is going to be an amazing season. GO HOKIES! STICK IT IN! STICK IT IN! STICK IT IN!
