Hi my name is Jackie Sarnese, and I am from Atlantic City, NJ. So yes, that makes me a Jersey girl. I absolutely love the beach, which is why I live there at home and at school. I am a freshman at the U! Even though I am new to the school and the area, I have gotten accustomed quite quickly. Classes have just started, so I can't tell you my GPA, but I can tell you that I am on an academic scholarship to the school. I am a Biology major and hope to become a Marine Biologist in time. I worked as a cocktail waitress at the Atlantic City Hilton Beach Bar this summer and loved every minute of it. If any of you are ever in the area that is the place to go. I may be somewhat of a nerd, but I do know how to have a good time ;).
Why I love college football:
Why do I love college football? Who wouldn't love college football is the question? Partying with your friends, wearing your school colors, hot athletes in tight pants, and screams from every fan in the crowd. It seems like a complete no-brainer. As I am a freshman at the U, I have yet to go to a Canes game. However my father was a college football player, and I was a cheerleader for 10 years. I was able to cheer for my high school football team at their state championship victory at Rutgers Stadium in '07. I know the feeling, and I know it's amazing. I cannot wait to be broken in!
